We are a listing service for home exchange or home swapping. Our members list their properties with us for anyone with Internet access to view. They are allowed to create comprehensive exchange listings with detailed information about the property by answering a series of questions.

Q. I am not a member. Why am I getting messages from your web site?
A. By design we have created a very private service for our members. This means that our members private information such as personal and email addresses are not visible by other members or searches of our listings. However, we also created a very open system which allows both members and non members to both view listings and contact our members about an exchange. Both of these features benefit our members. In order for us to keep our members email address private we allow a member to contact both members and non members, in regards to an exchange, and not disclose the members email address. When we do this the email you receive is from our site and includes contact information which allows you to respond directly to our member.
A. Home exchange, or swapping, is just as it sounds. You swap homes or apartments with someone who wants to visit your area. For example, if you live in Florida and wanted to visit London in June, You would need to find someone in London who wanted to visit Florida at that same time. They would come and live in your home while you would live in theirs.
A. Joining is easy! Just fill out the new members questionnaire and follow the directions. It will guide you through the membership process and give detail instructions on how to setup your member account and listings.
Q. Why does my credit card bill say ClientWorX Business Solutions?
A. Home4Swap is owned and operated by ClientWorX Business Solutions. 2CheckOut.com Inc. (Ohio, USA) is an authorized retailer for goods and services provided by ClientWorX Business Solutions. Due to the way the 2Checkout.com system works the billing is done under our ClientWorX name and website. This helps us to reduce our costs and lower your membership fees.
A. Anyone can search our listings. That is one of the many benefits to listing your property with us. See our benefits section for more details on why you should list your property with us.
Q. Can I exchange my apartment?
A. Yes. Many people think that they must own a home to take advantage of home exchanges. You can list your apartment summer home, or timeshare with us and enjoy home exchange.
Q. Do you charge me a fee if I exchange my home?
A. No. We do not charge any fees for exchanges! The only fee we charge is a yearly membership fee. And it is very affordable!
Q. Does an exchange include a car?
A. Many times an exchange does include a vehicle. This is something you can work out between each other. If the member wants to show that a car exchange is included, they can indicate this in their listing profile and it will be displayed in our search results. Keep in mind that this is optional for our members and that you should discuss this with them during the many conversations before the exchange.
A. It is important that you check with your insurance company on this. Most offer coverage for other drivers.
Q. What are some benefits of a home exchange?
A. One main reason is the cost. You can really cut your vacation or travel lodging and food bills by exchanging. The money you save can be put towards entertainment and other things which make your vacation more enjoyable. Most people also make new friends over the coarse of the exchange process. You will be exchanging letters and telephone conversations in addition to email and photos. This usually ends up making new friendships that last long after the exchange is over.
Q. Why would anyone want to come to where I live?
A. You may think that you live in a town that no one would want to visit. However it may be an hour or two away from a major attraction and many people like the atmosphere of the small town over the congestion of the surrounding area near a popular attraction.
Q. Can anyone contact me for an exchange or do they need to be a member too?
A. Yes. One membership benefit is that we are an open exchange site. This allows non members to contact you about an exchange. And our privacy features allow you to advertise your exchange without disclosing your contact information for all the SPAMMERS to use!
Q. Can I post photos with my listing?
A. Absolutely. Your account includes photos too! Not only do you get to customize your exchange listing but you can add and delete photos of your home, timeshare family etc. as often as you like.
Q. What about home owners or renters insurance?
A. It is important that you check with your insurance company on this matter. Make sure to let them know that you will be having non paying guests in your home while you are away. Just like your car insurance you need to make sure you are covered. God forbid anything should happen but make sure you are covered just in case. remember you are already saving a lot of money just by using a home exchange so why not spend a little bit extra just in case something does happen. you will more than make up the difference with the money you have saved by not staying in a hotel.
Q. What if I do not have digital photos that I can upload?
A. That is OK. We can turn your photographs into digital pictures for your home exchange and upload them to your account. You can log in to your account and you will find instructions on how to send these to us.
